ABOUT TL&N
NETZA ROLDAN
NETZA ROLDAN ― visionary of complex possibilities for innovative business development ― is the avant-garde entrepreneur behind Tango Life & News as well as other ventures.
With expertise in tourism development, public administration, target marketing, project management leadership, cross- cultural sensitivity and internal globalization, Netza delivers innovative solutions for many business needs as CEO and President of Impormex USA, an international marketing strategy and public relations firm.
And newly appointed, Netza officially represents the government of Mexico City in Chicago, whose office is scheduled to open early next month.
He’s also a prominent Chicago tango teacher and dancer/promoter who has studied Argentine tango for ten years with Argentine masters Gloria and Eduardo Arquimbau. Netza’s deep love of tango fostered a sincere dedication to “enhancing the human body and spirit” through his American Tango Institute (ATI), the first non-profit tango organization of its kind in Chicago. As ATI president, Netza is the vanguard that brings forward thinking to tango community locally and in Argentina through various developments.
Netza’s physical conditioning and body development pedagogy (University of Houston, TX & US and Mexico City high schools) integrated his own formulas for psychology, performance training, and body mechanics skills with physical performance. His unorthodox devices, such as incorporating ballet and dance fundamentals into training UH’s female football team, continue to inspire Netza in accomplishing his goals at American Tango Institute.
ATI is dedicated to developing social, educational and therapeutic programs and activities based on Argentine tango. Long known for its established Saturday night milongas (social tango dances), the institute conducts teaching programs such as Chicago public school field education, senior citizen dance education therapy, and suburban satellite tango classes. It also hosts the Chicago International Tango Festival held each August. Corporate Tango, Tango Empowerment, and Art In Motion are some of ATI’s newest community innovations under development.
Through NetRo Productions, Netza also coordinates writing, choreography, and production of original Broadway caliber Argentine tango shows featuring top dance talent, such as Argentina On Stage, performed live in Buenos Aires, Chicago, and Champaign, IL in 2009. The show was produced entirely by Netza Roldan along with Elizabeth Olivera.
Netza’s role as publisher of TL&N continues to expand his commitment to share knowledge about the world’s most enrapturing dance and its culture among a global tango community.

Additionally, Pat is a dedicated tanguera and dance instructor of Argentine tango, ballroom, and Latin styles. Currently, she receives ISTD (Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance) training from mentor Vito Bertucci, the only instructor in Chicago qualified to prepare students for coveted ISTD certification. She teaches tango and other dance independently at various Chicagoland locations, including ATI, as well as private dance coaching and “first dance” wedding choreography by appointment.
Pat’s commitment to dance, design and TL&N assures readers that tango passion will take on new global significance.
